Laser Projectors
You probably haven’t put a lot of thought into the technology in the projectors at your event, but you should take a quick look. If your projector is not laser, you could have a problem. In the old days, we used light bulbs and projectors, conventional light bulbs, and they would blow up and pop right in the middle of shows.
Happened often, in fact happened so often that most projectors had a backup. The other problem with the old school bulb projectors is they lose some of their brightness very quickly. And if you’ve got a projector with a bomb that’s been in service for even 5 or 6 months, it may not be anywhere near as bright as a day it was on the floor.
A laser projector uses less power, is always very, very bright and is really a much better solution. So when you’re looking at your projectors, ask your AV provider if they’re laser. If they’re not, you might want to make a call to Michigan Digital. We only use laser projectors for your projects.
