4K & IMAG Cameras
Adding IMAG or live video to your event for your screens is enormously impactful. Having that technology also provides you the ability to stream or send that content to ZOOM or recorded for use after your event. But having the right technology makes a world of difference, especially when it comes to your cameras. The old school approach and I mean, this is old school.
If you’re still doing this, you might want to call us. The old school approach is to take a big video camera, put it in the back of the room, put it on a podium or a stage, and have an operator there. And then they pan around and they follow whatever action is going on in the stage. It’s problematic because when you’re that far away from the stage, there’s no way it can be anything but jittery.
You just can’t control a camera and shoot that far away with a lot of being a little jittery, plus when you only have one camera, then you can’t do what they do on TV on the news shows and cut from camera one to camera two to camera three to be able to smoothly and professionally catch all the action. That’s why Michigan Digital we use only pan tilt, zoom, remote control, 4K cameras.
We can put them in the back of the room; They work great in low light. We remote control them from our production table. One person can operate two of those cameras, follow all the action, and it really turns your event into a world class television show. Having the right cameras and the right type in the right place will make a world of difference.
And if you have a big event and you have a lot of people in the room, and you’re not thinking about IMAG, you might want to think about it. It really, really helps people in your audience connect with the presenter, who may be several hundred feet away. IMAG with the amazing PTZ, 4K cameras from Michigan Digital will have a big positive impact on your next event.
